Elie Wiesel, Author of Night, Aged 12
Our English class is studying the memoir Night, by Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel.
I worked in a group with Kobain and Cliff to create an Empathy Map for Elie at this age.
At the start of the book, Elie is twelve and the third youngest living in a little town intransylvania, with his family. The members of Eliezer family is Elie's father,Elie's mother,Hilda, Bea, and Tzipora. He was stable and relatively happy although he wished his father was more involved with the family. Instead his dad is always busy. Elie had lots of in faith in god, crying while he prayed.
