Today this week me and my cousins decided to walk to the beach. We went for a swim in the water and dug huge holes in the sand but while digging we found a huge black oval like rock. I thought it looked interesting so I tried to pull it out but it was too heavy I then got my cousins to help me but it still was way too heavy. We then tried to dig around it but water kept coming in the hole. After a while we gave up and went to have a sausage sizzle for lunch.
After about two and a half hours we came back and found the whole was full of water so we decided to put cannon balls in it. It was quite fun since it was really deep but sand kept falling and eventually it was filled up and gone.
It then got quite dark so we walked home. When we got home dinner was ready. We ate all of it up and played some games. After I was about to go to sleep when suddenly my uncle stopped me and said we had fireworks and asked if I wanna come and help them set them off.
I said yes and it was pretty cool. The fireworks were colourful and blinding.
